SogSoog Riding App: Terms of Payment by Webdesk LLC
1. General Payment Terms
By using the SogSoog Riding App, both riders and drivers agree to the following payment terms. These terms govern all payments made via the SogSoog App and include provisions for both ride fares and any other services provided through the platform.
2. Payment Method
- Riders: Payments for rides are made through the SogSoog App using the payment method registered in the Rider’s account (credit/debit cards, mobile wallets, or other accepted payment systems). Riders must ensure that their payment details are current and accurate to avoid payment issues.
- Drivers: Drivers can receive payments directly into their registered bank accounts or through available payout methods specified in their account settings. Any delays or issues in the payment process may be addressed by contacting the SogSoog support team.
3. Ride Fare Calculation
The fare for each ride is calculated based on several factors, including but not limited to:
- Base Fare: The initial fee for using the service.
- Distance and Duration: The cost of the ride based on the distance traveled and the time taken for the ride.
- Surge Pricing: In times of high demand, surge pricing may apply, increasing the cost of the ride.
- Tolls and Fees: Any applicable road tolls, parking fees, or other external charges during the ride.
- Promotions and Discounts: The app may offer discounts or promotions to riders, which can be applied to the total fare.
SogSoog reserves the right to adjust fares as necessary, based on changes in costs or other variables.
4. Payment Processing and Charges
- Processing Fees: SogSoog may charge a processing fee for each payment transaction. The details of any applicable fees will be displayed before the payment is completed.
- Refunds: Riders and drivers may request refunds if there are issues with the ride, such as cancellations, overcharging, or service errors. Refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and SogSoog will determine whether a refund is appropriate according to its refund policy.
5. Payment for Drivers
- Ride Earnings: Drivers are paid based on the ride fares generated by the rides they provide. The amount earned is subject to deductions for commissions, fees, or other charges set forth by SogSoog.
- Commission: SogSoog charges a commission fee from each ride fare, which is a percentage of the total fare. This commission will be automatically deducted before payment is made to the driver.
- Payout Schedule: Driver earnings are processed according to the payout schedule selected by the driver. Payouts are made regularly (e.g., weekly or monthly) or as requested by the driver through the available payment methods in their account.
6. Ride Cancellations and Payment Adjustments
- Rider Cancellations: If a Rider cancels a ride after the Driver has accepted the request or after a certain period of time has passed, the Rider may be subject to a cancellation fee. The cancellation fee will be clearly stated before the cancellation occurs.
- Driver Cancellations: If a driver cancels a ride after accepting it, they may be subject to penalties or a reduction in their earnings for that particular ride. Repeated cancellations by a driver may result in temporary suspension or termination of their account.
7. Disputes and Payment Resolution
In the event of a payment dispute, both riders and drivers are encouraged to contact SogSoog’s support team. Disputes may involve overcharges, incorrect payment amounts, or issues related to ride cancellations. SogSoog will review all cases and make decisions based on the details provided. The following steps may be taken:
- Investigation of the payment issue.
- Contact the rider and/or driver for additional information.
- Adjustment of payment amounts, if necessary.
8. Taxes
Each rider and driver is responsible for any taxes applicable to their ride-related transactions. SogSoog is not responsible for withholding or paying taxes on behalf of users. Drivers must comply with all local tax laws and regulations regarding their earnings and ensure proper tax filings.
9. Changes to Payment Terms
SogSoog reserves the right to update or change the Terms of Payment at any time. Users will be notified of any significant changes via the app or through registered email addresses. Continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new payment terms.
10. Account Suspension and Termination
- Non-Payment: If a Rider’s payment fails or is not processed correctly, SogSoog may temporarily suspend or restrict access to the platform until the payment issue is resolved.
- Breach of Terms: If a Rider or Driver violates these Terms of Payment or any other terms outlined in the SogSoog User Agreement, their account may be suspended or terminated, and any outstanding balances may be owed to SogSoog.
11. Contact Information
For any questions or concerns regarding payments, riders and drivers should contact SogSoog’s support team. Support can be reached through the app or via the contact information provided in the app’s help section.
