Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Sogsoog mobile applications, websites, products, content, features, and platform (collectively referred to as the “Platform”).

By accepting these Terms or using the Platform in any manner, you are entering into a contract with us. The specific Sogsoog entity you contract with depends on your place of residence. If you reside in Morocco, the contract is concluded with Sogsoog LLC (“Sogsoog,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

Supplemental terms may apply to specific Sogsoog services such as Sogsoog Parcel, Sogsoog VIP, or Sogsoog Food. Our Privacy Policy outlines how we handle personal data. The Compliance Policy is also part of these Terms.


1. Driver Independence and Passenger Choice

Our Platform connects independent transportation, logistics, or courier service providers (“Drivers”) with Passengers. When a Passenger books a trip, they propose a fare, and Drivers may either accept or make a counteroffer.

Passengers are free to choose a Driver from the list of interested providers. The agreement is made directly between the Passenger and the Driver, and the fare is paid through the Platform. The fare includes all applicable fees and taxes. Sogsoog does not intervene in fare settlement.

Sogsoog is a technology company. It does not provide transportation or delivery services itself. Drivers are fully independent and solely responsible for the services they provide. Features or enhancements within the app do not imply any employment or agency relationship with users.


2. Fees and Payments

Sogsoog may charge a licensing fee to Drivers for use of the Platform. These fees apply only to completed orders and are visible in the Driver’s account. If a trip is canceled or the Passenger does not show up—provided the Driver selects the “Passenger did not show” button—the fee will be refunded. Refunds may take up to 30 days.

Refunds are not issued in cash; they are transferred to the bank account within 10 business days upon written request at: sogsoog.com/support.

If a Driver’s account balance becomes negative, it must be settled within two days to reactivate the account. Drivers are solely responsible for any taxes related to the services they provide.

Sogsoog may offer promotions, bonuses, or discounts, which are redeemable only through the app and are non-transferable to cash. Such offers may be revoked if acquired fraudulently or in violation of these Terms.


3. Your Sogsoog Account

To create an account, you must be over 18 years of age and provide accurate information. We may request documentation to verify your identity and to comply with anti-money laundering and sanctions laws.

You must promptly update your account information when it changes. Account sharing is strictly prohibited. If you lose access to your phone number, notify us immediately at: sogsoog.com/support.

You may delete your account through the app settings or by contacting support. We retain some data for legal reasons and may delete inactive accounts after 3 years.


4. Safety

Safety is a top priority at Sogsoog. We verify Driver documents and may conduct periodic checks. In some cases, we may request identification from Passengers as well.

Despite our efforts, safety outside the app cannot be guaranteed. Please ensure that the Driver’s identity and photo match and remain vigilant at all times.

In the event of danger, use the SOS button to contact local authorities or share your trip with a trusted contact.


5. Driver Obligations

By offering services on the Platform, you represent and warrant that:

  • You possess all legal licenses and permits, and the vehicle is in good condition.

  • You only use the vehicle registered with Sogsoog.

  • You do not bring anyone else along for the trip and do not operate under the influence of any substances.

  • You do not request any additional fees from the Passenger.

  • You comply with all applicable tax laws and provide any information we may request.

  • You use user data solely for providing the agreed-upon services.

  • You comply with anti-corruption, anti-forced labor laws, and Sogsoog’s internal policies.


6. Communication with Passengers

All communication must remain professional and relevant to the trip. Do not disclose unnecessary contact information. Any contact after the trip is considered harassment unless it relates to a lost item.

Calls and messages must be made through the Platform and may be monitored for compliance purposes.


7. Prohibited Activities

You may not use the Platform for:

  • Illegal or fraudulent activities.

  • Sharing your account or password.

  • Infringing on the rights of others.

  • Uploading unlawful or offensive content.

  • Undermining the Platform’s security or extracting data.

  • Creating a fictitious employment relationship with Sogsoog.


8. Anti-Fraud Policy

The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Manipulating Platform features (e.g., fake accounts or spoofed GPS).

  • Using unauthorized third-party tools.

  • Colluding with other users to commit fraud.

Violations may lead to suspension, penalties, or permanent bans.


9. Sogsoog’s Rights

We reserve the right to investigate and act on any violations, including suspending, restricting, or deleting accounts if:

  • Serious or repeated violations occur.

  • Required by law.

  • Security or technical issues arise.

If you were previously banned and return under a new account, we reserve the right to suspend all associated accounts.

10. Your Content

You are solely responsible for any content you post. We may remove content that violates these Terms.

You grant Sogsoog a license to use your content for the operation and improvement of the Platform.


11. Intellectual Property

All Platform content (designs, code, trademarks, etc.) is owned or licensed by Sogsoog and is legally protected.

You are granted a limited license to use the Platform. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or republish any content without prior authorization.


12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Sogsoog harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your breach of these Terms or unlawful use of the Platform.


13. Limitation of Liability

Sogsoog is not liable for any damages or losses resulting from your use of the Platform, including your relationship with any Driver or Passenger.

We are not a party to disputes between users and are not responsible for any third-party services or external links.


14. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco. Disputes must first be attempted to be resolved amicably. If unresolved, they shall be submitted to arbitration at the Vienna International Arbitral Centre (VIAC).


15. Amendments

We may update these Terms from time to time and will notify you of any material changes. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
